Simon Akroyd

Simon has over 30 years’ experience in the financial service industry working at Cazenove & Co, Aberdeen Asset Management and New Star where he headed up the Private Client Discretionary Management department. Whilst there, working on a joint venture with a well-established national network gave him an insight into the opportunities within the financial planning industry and in 2011 he completed the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. He brings a strong investment background to Thomson Tyndall, which is complemented by his ability to advise on pensions, IHT planning and business protection. Simon is also Thomson Tyndall’s artist in residence!
